We are looking for a motivated and result-driven Field Sales Officer to expand our presence across retail and modern trade outlets. The role involves regular market visits, ensuring effective product placement, driving sales growth, managing inventory, and working closely with distributors to achieve business targets.
Visit retail and modern trade outlets as per assigned routes and beat plans
Ensure proper product placement, visibility, and merchandising at stores
Drive primary and secondary sales of spice products
Coordinate with distributors for order booking, dispatches, and market coverage
Monitor stock levels, prevent stock-outs, and manage inventory rotation
Execute company schemes, promotions, and new product launches in the market
Collect market intelligence on pricing, competition, and consumer feedback
Maintain strong relationships with retailers, store managers, and distributor teams
Ensure timely collection of payments where applicable
Submit daily/weekly sales reports and market visit updates to the sales manager
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Prior experience in FMCG field sales (food/spices preferred)
Knowledge of retail and modern trade operations
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently in the field
Basic understanding of sales reporting and inventory management
Must own a two-wheeler with valid license
