Suggested Specialities / Candidate Profile

• Experience: 3–7 years in educational publishing, school book sales, ed-tech, stationery, or FMCG field sales

• School & Institutional Sales: Experience dealing directly with schools, principals, trustees, coordinators and teachers

• Publisher Experience: Preference for candidates from educational publishing / textbook companies

• Dealer & Distributor Network: Ability to appoint, manage and develop dealers/distributors

• Territory Development: Identify new schools, dealers and institutional business opportunities

• Sales Target: Strong track record of achieving monthly/annual sales targets

• Field Work: Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory

• Communication: Excellent Gujarati, Hindi and English communication skills

• Relationship Management: Strong ability to build long-term relationships with schools and channel partners

• Presentation Skills: Ability to present books, curriculum solutions and new products to schools

• Market Intelligence: Track competitor books, pricing, schemes and market trends

• Team Coordination: Coordinate with management, sales team, DTP/content teams and distributors

• Reporting: Good knowledge of Excel, WhatsApp, email and basic CRM/reporting

• Leadership: Should be capable of handling junior sales/marketing executives in the future

• Personal qualities: Target-oriented, proactive, confident, disciplined and professional

• Education: Graduate preferred; MBA/PGDM in Marketing would be an advantage

• Driving: Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred
