The Field Sales Team Lead will oversee and guide a team of field sales representatives responsible for selling service solutions to businesses and clients. This role focuses on driving revenue, building client relationships, improving service adoption, and ensuring high-quality execution of field sales activities. The position requires strong leadership, market understanding, and the ability to deliver consultative selling for service offerings.
1. Team Leadership & Coaching•
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of field sales executives.
• Conduct daily/weekly performance reviews and provide coaching on service pitch and selling skills.
• Support team members during client visits, presentations, and negotiations.
• Ensure adherence to sales processes, service guidelines, and company policies.
2. Sales & Business Development
• Drive field sales efforts to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly service sales targets.
• Support the team in identifying, approaching, and converting prospective clients.
• Oversee proposal creation, service demonstrations, and pricing discussions.
• Manage key client accounts and help close large or strategic deals.
3. Market & Client Insights
• Analyze client needs and recommend appropriate service solutions.
• Gather market intelligence on competitor services, pricing, and customer pain points.
• Identify new segments, verticals, and growth opportunities for service offerings.
4. Operations & Coordination•
• Coordinate with service delivery, operations, and customer support teams to ensure seamless onboarding and satisfaction.
• Ensure accurate documentation, contract signing, and completion of onboarding processes.
• Monitor client feedback and resolve escalation issues promptly.
5. Reporting & MIS
• Track team activity including visits, lead pipeline, conversions, and revenue progress.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly sales reports.
• Use CRM tools to monitor the funnel and improve forecast accuracy.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
• 2–5 years of field sales experience in a service-focused industry.
• Minimum 1 year in a team leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of B2B or B2C service selling.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel frequently and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with CRM/sales automation tools.
