We are seeking a results-oriented, experienced Field Sales Manager to lead sales initiatives in the field, expand our market reach, manage key accounts, and drive revenue growth in the assigned territory. You will be the face of Notofire Private Limited to dealers, distributors, system integrators, contractors, consultants, and major clients. This role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, excellent relationship building, and a deep understanding of fire safety solutions, wires, cables, telecom, power, networking, LHS, and infrastructure market dynamics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Strategy & Target Achievement

• Define and execute sales plans (monthly / quarterly / annual) for the territory to meet and exceed revenue targets.

• Identify priority products and segments including Fire Alarm Cables, Fire Survival Cables, LHS Cables, Networking Cables, Railway Signaling Cables, Power Cables, and Telecom Cables.

• Drive sales growth through focused market penetration and account development. Business Development & Market Expansion

• Identify new customers including distributors, system integrators, consultants, contractors, EPC companies, large corporates, railways, government bodies, and institutional clients.

• Penetrate new geographies and customer segments.

• Generate leads through cold outreach, networks, trade shows, exhibitions, and referrals. Relationship Management & Key Account Handling

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring repeat business.

• Be the primary point of contact for major clients and institutional/government projects.

• Ensure high customer satisfaction and handle escalations efficiently. Channel / Partner Management

• Expand the distributor, dealer, and channel partner network.

• Support partners with product training, marketing collateral, and sales initiatives.

• Monitor channel performance and provide coaching and feedback. Market & Competitive Intelligence

• Regularly visit the market and interact with customers to understand demand, product requirements, and competitor activity.

• Gather feedback on pricing, product features, quality, and market trends.

• Provide insights to management for strategic planning and product development. Forecasting, Reporting & Administration

• Maintain and update sales pipeline, forecasts, and achievement tracking.

• Produce MIS and management reports on sales performance and channel metrics.

• Monitor receivables and ensure collections as per company policies.

• Coordinate order processing, dispatch, and delivery with internal teams. Training & Team Leadership

• Lead, coach, and mentor sales executives where applicable.

• Conduct periodic training on products, sales techniques, and negotiation skills.

• Foster a performance-driven and customer-focused sales culture. Compliance & Brand Representation

• Ensure compliance with company policies related to pricing, credit, and discounting.

• Represent Notofire Private Limited at trade shows, customer meetings, seminars, and industry forums.

• Uphold the company's brand values of innovation, quality, safety, reliability, and customer trust.

QUALIFICATIONS & CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.

• MBA or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage. Experience

• 5–8+ years in field sales or business development roles.

• Preferably in Fire Safety Products, Wires & Cables, LHS Cables, Networking Cables, Telecom, Power, Signaling, Infrastructure, or other technical B2B industries.

• Experience in dealing with institutional and government clients is a strong advantage. Product / Industry Knowledge

• Understanding of Fire Safety Solutions, LHS Cables, Networking Cables, Power Cables, Telecom Cables, Railway Signaling Cables, and relevant standards such as BIS, IEC, RDSO, NBC, TIA/EIA, ISO/IEC, and applicable safety regulations.

• Knowledge of customer applications, project requirements, and industry practices. Skills & Abilities

• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

• Strong analytical, planning, and market insight capabilities.

• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of driving results independently.

• Proficient in CRM software and MS Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint).

• Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

• Valid driving license preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
