Sales Manager – Insurance

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to drive sales performance, manage customer relationships, and contribute to business growth within the insurance sector. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in insurance sales and strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive insurance sales and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

- Generate leads and convert prospects into customers.

- Manage and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners.

- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.

- Handle customer queries and provide suitable insurance solutions.

- Monitor sales performance and prepare regular sales reports.

- Follow up with prospective customers and ensure timely conversions.

- Maintain accurate customer and sales records.

- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth policy issuance and servicing.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable insurance guidelines.

Candidate Eligibility

- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in any of the following:

- Life Insurance

- General Insurance

- Health Insurance

- Bancassurance

- Insurance Telesales

- Graduation preferred.

- Strong communication, negotiation, sales, and relationship-building skills.

- CIBIL Score: 650 or above.

- Stable career history preferred; candidates with significant career gaps may not be considered.

- Freshers are not eligible.

- Candidates currently or previously associated with Niva Bupa or Care Health Insurance are not eligible.

- Candidates proficient in Punjabi, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, as well as candidates suitable for General profiles, are eligible.

Preferred Skills

- Strong sales and target-oriented approach.

- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication.

- Customer relationship management.

- Negotiation and persuasion skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Good knowledge of insurance products and sales processes.

Experience

Minimum 1 year of relevant insurance sales experience

Graduation preferred
