1. Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and target-orientated sales executive to drive business development for concrete, steel, cement and related construction materials across Bihar. The position will focus on field sales, customer acquisition, dealer/distributor development, project visits and relationship management with key stakeholders in the construction ecosystem.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities and achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.

• Identify, onboard and develop dealers, distributors, retailers and institutional customers.

• Conduct regular field visits to builders, contractors, construction sites and infrastructure projects.

• Promote and sell concrete, steel, cement and other construction-related products.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business.

• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and commercial solutions.

• Track competitor pricing, product availability, market activity and customer trends.

• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms and follow up on orders until successful delivery.

• Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, dispatch and customer service.

• Follow up on outstanding payments and support timely collection as required.

• Maintain accurate daily field-visit, lead, pipeline and sales reports.

• Cement, steel and building-material dealers

• Hardware and construction-material retailers

• RMC / concrete businesses

• Institutional and project-based customers

4. Candidate Profile

• Graduates preferred; candidates with relevant industry experience may also be considered.

• 1–3 years of field/B2B sales experience preferred, particularly in cement, steel, concrete, hardware or building materials.

• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.

• Good understanding of the local market and customer network.

• Comfortable with extensive field travel and territory development.

• Self-motivated, disciplined and capable of working against sales targets.

• Basic working knowledge of MS Excel, email and WhatsApp.

• Valid two-wheeler driving licence preferred.

7. Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month, based on experience and suitability.

• Performance-based incentives may be offered as per company policy.

• Travel/TA support may be applicable based on company policy and role requirements.
