Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Distribution
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Increase product availability across retail outlets, supermarkets, wholesalers, and distributors.
Expand market coverage by adding new outlets and customers.
Improve product visibility and shelf placement.
2. Market Development
Conduct regular market visits in Guwahati and nearby territories.
Monitor competitor activities and pricing.
Execute promotional campaigns and new product launches.
Build strong relationships with retailers and distributors.
3. Distributor Management
Work closely with distributors to ensure stock availability.
Track orders, deliveries, and inventory levels.
Support distributors in achieving business growth and profitability.
Resolve market and supply-related issues.
4. Team Coordination
Train and guide sales representatives.
Set sales targets and monitor performance.
Conduct market coaching and field visits with sales staff.
5. Reporting & Analysis
Prepare daily and monthly sales reports.
Analyze sales trends and market performance.
Use Excel and company sales systems for reporting.
Required Skills
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
FMCG sales and distribution knowledge.
Relationship management.
Problem-solving and analytical ability.
MS Excel, Word, and Outlook proficiency.
Knowledge of Assamese, Hindi, and basic English is often preferred.
Eligibility
Graduate in any discipline (BBA, B.Com, BA, B.Sc, etc.).
MBA in Marketing is an advantage.
