Job Description – Executive / Sr. Executive (Energy Sales)

Role Objective

Drive customer acquisition, site surveys, project execution, and government liaison activities for rooftop solar projects, ensuring smooth end-to-end delivery from lead generation to commissioning.

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct field visits to channel partners and residential customers.

Generate leads through referrals,channel partners, RWAs, and local associations.

Explain rooftop solar solutions, savings potential, subsidy benefits, and financing options to customers.

Follow up with prospects and support conversion of leads into orders.

Conduct site surveys along with EPC partners and collect technical data including roof dimensions, shadow analysis, and electrical load details.

Capture photographs and prepare site survey reports.

Coordinate for proposal preparation and project planning.

Coordinate installation schedules with customers and vendors.

Monitor project progress at sites and ensure quality and safety compliance.

Support commissioning and handover activities.

Assist customers with PM Surya Ghar subsidy applications and documentation.

Coordinate with DISCOMs for net metering approvals and inspections.

Maintain project records and customer documentation.

Update CRM on daily activities, leads, site visits, and project status.

Submit daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.

Track project pipeline from lead generation to commissioning.

Qualification & Experience

Experience•

1–4 years of experience in Solar, Electrical, Telecom, Insurance, Consumer Durables, or Field Sales.

Education

Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field preferred.

Graduates with relevant solar sales or field operations experience may also apply.

Mandatory Requirements

Own two-wheeler with a valid driving licence.

Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Age between 20 and 32 years.
