Job Summary

The Sales Coordinator will support the sales team by managing sales documentation, coordinating with production and dispatch teams, handling customer communications, and ensuring smooth execution of sales orders in a metal manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the sales team for quotations, proposals, and order confirmations

• Prepare and maintain sales orders, proforma invoices, and delivery schedules

• Follow up with customers for order status, delivery timelines, and payments

• Liaise with production, planning (PPC), stores, and dispatch departments to ensure timely execution

• Maintain customer database, pricing records, and sales reports

• Track purchase orders and ensure compliance with agreed commercial terms

• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales support coordination

• Assist in preparing MIS reports, sales forecasts, and monthly performance data

• Support audits, documentation, and compliance related to sales transactions

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong coordination and communication skills

• Knowledge of metal manufacturing processes (sheet metal, fabrication, machining preferred)

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and ERP/CRM systems

• Ability to handle multiple orders and work under pressure

• Good follow-up and customer handling skills

• Basic understanding of pricing, taxes (GST), and commercial terms

Educational Qualification

• Graduate in Commerce / Business Administration / Engineering (preferred)

• Diploma holders with relevant experience may also apply

Experience

• 1 to 3 years of experience as a Sales Coordinator or Sales Support Executive

• Experience in manufacturing or metal industry is mandatory
