Purchase Sourcing Executive (Field-Based)

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Purchase Sourcing Executive to manage sourcing and procurement activities for our real estate projects. The role requires extensive fieldwork (approximately 80%) involving vendor visits, market surveys, supplier negotiations, and site coordination, along with office-based documentation and reporting (20%).

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Sourcing & Market Survey (80% Field Work)

• Visit markets, manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers to identify and develop new vendors.

• Conduct regular market surveys to obtain competitive pricing and assess material availability.

• Source construction materials, interior products, electrical items, plumbing materials, sanitary ware, hardware, and other project requirements.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors.

• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions.

• Visit project sites to understand material requirements and procurement needs.

• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and vendors for timely delivery of materials.

• Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality-related issues.

• Identify alternative suppliers to optimize procurement costs and timelines.

Procurement & Documentation (20% Office Work)

• Prepare comparative statements (CS) and vendor evaluations.

• Generate and process Purchase Orders (POs).

• Maintain procurement records, quotations, contracts, and vendor databases.

• Coordinate with Accounts for invoice verification and payment follow-ups.

• Prepare procurement reports and updates for management.
