Job Title: Medical Representative
The Medical Representative will be responsible for promoting company products to doctors and pharmacists, building strong professional relationships, and achieving sales targets within the assigned territory
Key Responsibilities
1. Doctor & Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and healthcare professionals
Regularly interact with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and clinic/hospital decision-makers
Act as a trusted point of contact by addressing queries and providing product information
2. Product Promotion & Detailing
Promote cosmetic/dermatology products to doctors and pharmacists
Conduct effective product detailing, highlighting features, benefits, and usage
Ensure proper communication of brand value to generate prescriptions
3. Sales & Target Achievement
Achieve assigned sales targets for the territory
Implement sales strategies to improve market penetration
Identify new business opportunities and potential customers
4. Territory Management
Manage assigned territory efficiently with planned daily visits
Maintain doctor call lists and visitation schedules
Track competitor activities and market trends within the territory
5. Market Intelligence & Feedback
Collect and share market feedback, competitor data, and customer insights
Stay updated with industry trends, products, and treatment practices
Report changes in doctor preferences or market dynamics to management
6. Reporting & Documentation
Maintain accurate records of daily calls, sales, and sample distribution
Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
Ensure timely and accurate reporting to the reporting manager
7. Training & Professional Development
Participate in product training programs and sales meetings
Attend conferences, CMEs, and company-organized events
Continuously upgrade product knowledge and selling skills
8. Compliance & Ethics
Follow company policies and ethical sales practices
Ensure compliance with industry standards and promotional guidelines

Educational Qualification
Preferred: B.Sc
Eligible: B.A / B.Com / B.Pharm / PG / Other Graduates
Experience
2-4 years of experience as a Medical Representative (Dermatology preferred)
Other Requirements
Two-wheeler mandatory
Valid driving license
Languages: English, Hindi, and local language preferred
Local candidates preferred
