MEDICAL REPRESENTATIVE – DR. SAYANI’S HEALTHCARE PVT LTD

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and disciplined Medical Representative to promote Dr. Sayani’s Healthcare products and drive doctoral referrals across Orthopedics, Physiotherapy, General Medicine, Podiatry, and Rehabilitation clinics. The core objective is to increase prescription flow, strengthen doctor relationships, and grow footfall into our retail stores.

Key Responsibilities

1. Doctor & Clinic Promotion (Primary Responsibility)

●       Promote our full product range to Orthopedic Surgeons, Physiotherapists, Rehab Specialists, General Physicians, and Podiatrists.

●       Highlight the benefits of recommending Dr. Sayani’s store’s product availability, competitive pricing, and patient support.

●       Drive recommendations for key categories:

○       Orthopedic support & braces

○       Diabetic/MCP footwear

○       Silicone insoles

○       Walking sticks, walkers, wheelchairs

○       Cushions, ergonomic products, homecare & rehab tools

●       Conduct product demos, case-based discussions, and patient outcome briefings at clinics and hospitals.

2. Territory Development & New Business

●       Identify and onboard new doctors, clinics, physiotherapy centers, and hospitals.

●       Expand Dr. Sayani’s referral network across the assigned area.

●       Ensure a continuous pipeline of patient referrals flowing to our stores.

3. Relationship Management

●       Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with healthcare professionals.

●       Follow up repeat prescriptions, patient feedback, and new requirements.

●       Coordinate with store managers to ensure smooth patient handling and issue resolution.

4. Market & Product Intelligence

●       Stay updated on treatment protocols, rehabilitation practices, and orthopedic/physio trends.

●       Track competitor brands, product pricing, and doctor preferences.

●       Provide field insights to the Sales and Product teams for continuous improvement.

5. Reporting & Administration

●       Maintain structured reports of doctor visits, call notes, and CRM entries.

●       Track conversion rates from referrals to store sales.

●       Manage samples, brochures, and promotional materials responsibly.

●       Submit daily and weekly performance updates.

●       Increase in doctor referrals

●       Monthly sales growth from assigned territory

●       New clinic/hospital onboarding

●       Overall relationship strength and service feedback

Requirements

Education

●       Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Nursing, or related healthcare fields.

Experience

●       1–3 years in medical sales, preferably in Orthopedics, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, or Home Healthcare products.

Skills

●       Strong doctor-handling and communication skills

●       Understanding of orthopedic and physio conditions

●       Confident in demos and patient explanation

●       Good reporting and CRM discipline

●       Comfortable with daily fieldwork

Working Hours

●       Field-based role aligned with clinic and hospital timings

●       Travel within assigned territory as required

Compensation & Benefits

●       Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month (depending on experience)

●       TA/DA: As per company policy for field travel

●       Performance Incentives: Based on referral conversions and sales targets
