Job Summary
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for managing the field sales team, generating residential solar leads, explaining PM Surya Ghar Yojana benefits to customers, and closing solar installation sales. The candidate will also ensure daily sales targets are achieved and field operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the field sales team
Meet residential customers and conduct follow-ups
Explain PM Surya Ghar Yojana and solar subsidy benefits
Generate leads and close solar sales
Coordinate and facilitate site survey processes
Ensure daily and weekly sales targets are achieved
Monitor team performance and motivate team members
Develop local dealer/channel sales network
Handle customer queries and objections professionally
Requirements
2–4 years of experience in Solar Industry / Channel Sales / Field Sales
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and sales negotiation skills
Fluency in local language and basic English/Hindi
Comfortable with field work and local travel
Target-oriented and self-motivated personality
Salary & Benefits
Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹60,000/month (Based on experience)
