About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Field Sales Executive to develop new business, maintain relationships with existing customers, and increase sales of our plumbing, sanitary, drainage, pipe fittings, and infrastructure products.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit hardware shops, sanitaryware dealers, plumbers, contractors, builders, architects, and other potential customers regularly.

• Identify and generate new sales leads through field visits and networking.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.

• Promote and explain the company’s products, specifications, applications, and pricing to customers.

• Follow up on enquiries, quotations, and pending orders to convert leads into sales.

• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

• Collect market information regarding competitors, pricing, customer requirements, and new opportunities.

• Coordinate with the office and sales team regarding orders, payments, deliveries, and customer requirements.

• Maintain daily records of customer visits, leads, enquiries, and sales activities.

• Follow up for outstanding payments wherever required.

• Participate in market expansion activities and help identify new areas and customer segments.

• Coordinate with the marketing team to follow up on leads generated through digital platforms and campaigns.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in field sales.

• Freshers with strong communication and sales skills may also be considered.

• Good communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.

• Self-motivated and comfortable with regular field travel.

• Target-oriented and willing to take ownership of sales responsibilities.

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets and WhatsApp.

• Knowledge of the local Kolkata market will be an advantage.

• Valid two-wheeler licence and own vehicle preferred.
