
A Paytm Field Sales Executive (FSE) is primarily responsible for expanding Paytm's merchant network by onboarding businesses to use digital payment products like QR codes, Soundboxes, and Card Machines (EDC).
The role is highly active, involving significant travel and direct interaction with local shopkeepers and business owners.
## Key Responsibilities
Merchant Onboarding: Identifying and visiting retail shops, restaurants, and other businesses to set up Paytm payment solutions (QR codes and Soundbox).
Product Sales: Promoting and selling high-value hardware like EDC (Electronic Data Capture) machines and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
Lead Generation: Independently sourcing new clients through field visits and market research within a designated territory.
Relationship Management: Re-visiting inactive merchants to solve their queries, provide technical support, and ensure they continue using Paytm services.
Branding: Ensuring Paytm marketing materials (stickers, standees) are prominently displayed at merchant locations.
