Job Description

Position: Field Sales Associate / Freelancer

Location: Delhi NCR

Department: Sales & Marketing

Reporting To: Sales Manager – MIDAS Solar


🌞 About MIDAS Solar

MIDAS Solar is an MNRE and UPNEDA-approved company working in residential, commercial, and industrial solar rooftop solutions. With over 1000+ successful installations, our goal is to make solar affordable and reliable for every customer.


⚡ Role Objective

To generate leads, visit customer sites, assess rooftops, and convert potential buyers into solar customers by explaining system types, EMI plans, and government subsidy benefits.


🧭 Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct 8–10 field visits per day within assigned areas (residential and commercial).

  2. Collect electricity bills, site data, and rooftop photos for technical evaluation.

  3. Explain solar benefits, system types (On-Grid / Hybrid / Off-Grid), and ROI.

  4. Present finance options to make solar affordable.

  5. Coordinate site survey and installation booking with the technical team.

  6. Follow up on leads from tele calling and digital marketing campaigns.

  7. Maintain accurate data in CRM and daily reporting sheets.

  8. Build trust and maintain customer relationships throughout the process.

  9. Assist in promotional events, exhibitions, and field campaigns.

  10. Work towards achieving monthly sales targets and contribute to district installation goals.


🧠 Required Skills & Qualities

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Confidence in door-to-door or B2C/B2B customer interactions.

  • Ability to explain financial and technical concepts simply.

  • Ownership mindset and result-oriented attitude.

  • Knowledge of basic solar systems (preferred but trainable).

  • Proficiency in smartphone apps, WhatsApp, and Google Maps.


🛠️ Eligibility Criteria

  • Experience: 2–5 years in direct/field sales (solar, electrical, telecom, insurance, or FMCG preferred).

  • Education: 12th / Graduate (any stream).

  • Bike + valid driving license mandatory.

  • Should be comfortable climbing rooftops for surveys.

  • Should live within Gorakhpur proximity.


💸 Compensation & Benefits

  • Fixed Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹25,000/month (based on experience)

  • Incentives: ₹1,000 per system closed (Domestic)

  • Incentives: ₹1,500–₹2,000 per system closed (C&I)

  • Daily travel allowance (as per company policy)

  • Growth opportunity to Senior Executive / Team Lead / Manager roles.


🕒 Work Timing

  • Monday to Saturday: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Weekly Off: Sunday


🎯 Performance Targets

  • Minimum 8–10 site visits/day

  • 8–12 monthly installations (Domestic) or 3–5 deals (C&I)

  • 100% CRM & report submission discipline
