Field Executive (FSE) – Google Pay
A Field Executive at Google Pay is responsible for expanding the merchant network and ensuring smooth adoption of digital payment solutions by onboarding new merchants, installing soundbox devices, and providing regular follow-ups through revisits.
Key Responsibilities
1) Merchant Onboarding
Visit shops and small businesses to onboard them onto Google Pay.
Explain Google Pay services, benefits, and offers to merchants.
Collect and verify KYC documents as per company guidelines.
Complete registration accurately in the system.
Ensure merchant account activation.
Train merchants on using the Google Pay app and QR code.
2) Soundbox Installation & Activation
Install Google Pay soundbox devices at merchant locations.
Check network connectivity and power/charging.
Test voice alerts and transaction confirmations.
Educate merchants on daily usage, charging, and troubleshooting.
Take merchant confirmation after successful setup.
3) Revisit & Merchant Engagement
Revisit existing merchants for support and relationship building.
Resolve issues related to transactions, settlements, or devices.
Replace or escalate faulty devices when required.
Encourage higher transaction activity.
Inform merchants about new schemes, features, and promotions.
Collect feedback and share with supervisors.
4) Reporting & Compliance
Update daily work in the official tracking application.
Share performance reports with the Business Development Lead (BDL).
Follow company SOPs and compliance standards.
Maintain professional conduct in the field.
5) Skills & Requirements
Strong communication and persuasion skills.
Basic knowledge of smartphones and digital payments.
Willingness to travel locally for field work.
