Position: Field Sales Executive

Key Accountabilities:

1. Meet sales and collection targets for own territory

2. Identify and win new customers including

a. Key accounts (large customers)

b. Distributors/dealers/stockists

c. End users of industrial water across wide range of industries

3. Get consultant approvals

4. Follow sales process and maintain customer/prospect database

Qualifications: Educational qualification is not mandatory, proven B2B technical product sales

skills are more important.

Diploma Engg or BSc or BCom is preferable though not mandatory. Technical training & support

will be provided.

Skills Required

1. Demonstrated record of meeting industrial B2B sales targets for a market challenger

2. Technical sales skills

a. Cold calling

b. Prospect qualification

c. Understand user requirements

d. Help customer select products

e. Inquiry generation

f. Overcome objections

g. Close sale

h. Collect payment, testimonial and installation data

3. Collection skills

4. Negotiation skills

5. Appointing dealers/distributors and achieving sales targets through them

6. Getting consultant approvals

Experience:

Sales: Min. 3 years of field sales of technical product to business customers.

Prefer experience water related product sales to system integrators, industrial end customers and

consultants (e.g. pumps, valves, water filters, water treatment chemicals etc.)

Typical profile:

Successful sales experience in water treatment equipment (e.g. pumps, valves, softeners, filters,

RO systems, DM plants, solar water heaters, etc. Typically working or worked with Ion Exchange,

Thermax, or their competitors or their dealers).

Required:

1. Proven ability to meet sales targets

2. Successful sales record in water related industry
