Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and target-driven Field Sales Executive to join our merchant onboarding team. In this role, you will be responsible for visiting retail shops, local businesses, and commercial establishments to pitch, sell, and deploy Paytm EDC (Card Swiping) Machines and Paytm Soundboxes.

Key Responsibilities

Merchant Acquisition: Conduct daily field visits to pitch and sell Paytm EDC machines, Soundboxes, and QR codes to local shopkeepers, merchants, and business owners.

Product Demos: Demonstrate how the EDC device works, highlighting features like instant card payments, UPI integration, auto-settlement, and transactional reliability.

Documentation & Onboarding: Complete merchant KYC verification, collect necessary business documents, and process digital onboarding via the agent mobile app.

Device Installation: Ensure prompt deployment, installation, and setup of the EDC machine at the merchant's outlet.

Relationship & Support: Maintain regular contact with onboarded merchants to ensure active device usage, resolve basic technical issues, and address billing or payment inquiries.

Sales Targets: Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly merchant onboarding and device distribution targets.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Minimum 10th Pass / 12th Pass / Graduate in any discipline.

Experience: Prior experience in Field Sales, Direct Sales, Merchant Acquisition, or Telecom/FMCG distribution is preferred.

Assets: A working Android Smartphone and a two-wheeler (Bike/Scooter) with a valid driving license.

Skills: Strong local language communication skills, basic negotiation skills, and a self-motivated, target-oriented mindset.
