
JOB DESCRIPTION
A Field Sales Executive in healthcare is responsible for driving revenue by promoting and selling medical products, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare services directly to hospitals, clinics, and professionals. They build strong, long-lasting relationships with doctors and administrators, achieve sales targets, and conduct product demonstrations within a designated territory.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Visits & Relationship Management: Actively visit hospitals, pharmacies, Laboratory and clinics to build relationships with key decision-makers (doctors, pathology Laboratory, pharmacists, nurses, administrators).
Sales & Business Development: Promote products, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Product Demonstration: Present and demonstrate medical equipment, devices, or pathology products to health professionals.
Lead Generation: Identify new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and market research.
Reporting & Feedback: Maintain records of visits, sales data, and client feedback in a CRM system; report market trends and competitor activity to management.
After-Sales Support: Ensure customer satisfaction by handling inquiries, complaints, and assisting with product implementation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience: 0-2 years of experience in sales, preferably within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device industry.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presentations and negotiation.
Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
Typical Requirements
A valid driving license and a two-wheeler/four-wheeler for field travel would have extra preference.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Strong understanding of local medical, clinical, and hospital practices.
