Job Description: Sales Executive
Department: Sales
Reporting To: Sales Manager
Location: Surat, Gujarat
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
• Identify and research potential clients through cold calling, networking, and social media.
• Generate leads and schedule meetings with potential clients to understand their requirements.
2. Client Relationship Management
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and resolve client queries or complaints promptly.
3. Sales Execution
• Present and demonstrate company products/services to clients effectively.
• Prepare and deliver professional proposals, quotations, and presentations.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and close sales to achieve assigned targets.
4. Market Research & Competitor Analysis
• Keep track of market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing strategies.
• Share feedback and insights with the marketing and product development teams.
5. Reporting & Documentation
• Maintain accurate records of sales, revenue, and client information using CRM tools.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, pipeline updates, and forecasts.
6. Post-Sales Support
• Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure timely product delivery and support.
• Follow up on payment collections and after-sales feedback.
7. Target Achievement
• Work consistently towards monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Plan and implement effective sales strategies to drive company growth and profitability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• More than 3 years experience in sales (preferably in building materials, construction, or manufacturing
industry).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and result-driven.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
• Willingness to travel as required.
