Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Field Sales Executive to drive sales and expand our market presence in the agricultural equipment domain. You will be the face of our company, identifying new customer relationships, conducting on-field demonstrations, and helping farmers succeed through high-quality machinery solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
Identify and target potential customers, including individual farmers, agricultural cooperatives, and local dealers.
Conduct frequent field visits to demonstrate the technical benefits and usage of our machinery.
Achieve monthly sales targets and prepare detailed quotations and proposals.
Negotiate and close deals effectively to contribute to company revenue.
Customer Relationship Management:
Provide expert technical advice to help customers select the right equipment for their needs.
Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Conduct on-site training sessions for farmers on how to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
Market Analysis & Reporting:
Monitor competitor activities and identify emerging market trends.
Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and travel logs to the Sales Manager.
Represent the company at agricultural shows, exhibitions, and local farmer meets.
Candidate Requirements
Education: Minimum 12th Pass / PUC (Graduation is a plus).
Experience:
Proven experience in B2B Sales.
Prior experience selling machinery, industrial products, or technical hardware.
Field Sales experience is mandatory, preferably within the agricultural machinery sector.
Mobility: Must be willing and able to travel up to 200 km within the assigned territory.
Technical Skills: Ability to understand and explain technical product specifications and precision agriculture technologies.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Existing network within the local agricultural industry.
Familiarity with agricultural financing and leasing options.
Knowledge of local soil conditions and seasonal crop cycles.
