About

Haqdarshak

We are bridging the information and access gap between citizens and social security schemes using

tech and a network of field agents known as ‘Haqdarshaks’ (who are primarily women).

Our ‘Haqdarshaks’ are extensively trained in government schemes and the on-field implementation of our

programmes. They’re also trained on how to liaise with government and bank officials (which is critical in

unlocking access to schemes). For the services they provide, they charge a nominal fee which makes

them financially independent — on our social media channels, we have featured several stories of women

who have not only gained financial agency but also an identity after working with us.

We partner with corporates, CSR departments, philanthropies, family offices, and even government

offices to design and implement programs on the field. We have been around for over 9 years and are

present in more than 33+ states and UTs. We have unlocked benefits worth over INR 18,000 crore (USD

2.16 billion) for over 72 lakh (7.2 million) Indian citizens. We have multiple digital portals (including two

apps, one for citizens and one for our agents) where we have stored information on government schemes

in 11 vernacular languages.

We are also working on scaling our latest offerings, ‘Yojana Cards’ and ‘Yojana Kendras’. These are set to

forever alter how citizens access social protection services in India.

Qualifications

— The candidate should have at least 1-3 years of relevant experience working on Social Protection.

— Entrepreneurship development Project experience is preferred.

— Strong computation skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

— Strong organizational skills and need to have an eye for detail.

— Strong writing skills- able to write media collaterals quickly and effectively, emails, and reports.

Your

Core Role

— Leading a team of HESPL Field Staff & Haqdarshak team to ensure citizens served on various social

entitlements

— Ensure Hiring, Training and provide mentorship and training support to Field Agents• (Haqdarshak-

HD).

— Spend at least 90% of the time on the field engaging with partners, entrepreneurs and team members.

— Build and maintain relationships with field officials, Government Agencies and developmental

organizations.

— Conduct Digital productivity/ financial literacy training.

— Fellows will need to identify HDs in the local community and onboard them through AMS on the HD

Portal.

— Fellows will mobilize the community to attend the camp for applications.

— Take complete ownership of assigned districts.

— Five-Day workweek.
