Job Title: ATM Custodian

Location: Kolkata

Reports To: Branch Manager / Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The ATM Custodian is responsible for the safe handling, transportation, and replenishment of cash in ATMs. This role ensures the security, accuracy, and operational efficiency of all ATM-related cash management activities. The incumbent must follow strict compliance, security, and operational protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely transport cash from the bank branch or cash center to ATMs.

Replenish ATMs with the correct denominations and quantities of currency.

Maintain accurate records of cash loading and withdrawal activities.

Report discrepancies, shortages, or damages immediately to the supervisor.

Ensure ATM replenishment schedules are strictly followed to avoid downtime.

Verify security seals and ensure ATM safety procedures are adhered to during loading/unloading.

Coordinate with operations and security teams regarding cash logistics.

Conduct routine inspections of ATMs for cash levels, operational issues, or security concerns.

Follow strict compliance with all banking regulations and internal SOPs.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum high school diploma; relevant experience in cash handling or logistics is preferred.

Prior experience in banking operations or ATM cash handling is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to handle cash responsibly and maintain confidentiality.

Good physical stamina for carrying cash and traveling between ATMs.

Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Ability to work under strict security and compliance guidelines.
