Position Overview

As a Field Collection Officer, you will meet customers in person in your assigned area to resolve overdue loan accounts that earlier digital and tele-calling efforts could not close. You will handle a mix of products — personal loans, business loans, credit cards, and microfinance — working to a daily case list generated by our app, and reporting to the State Collections Manager for your region.

What You'll Do

• Visit customers at their residential or business addresses within your assigned territory.

• Work through the daily and monthly case list shared on the Jatayu app, following the suggested route and priority.

• Hold professional, respectful conversations with customers about their overdue amounts and repayment options.

• Negotiate realistic payment commitments and follow up consistently until the case is resolved.

• Collect payments strictly through authorised channels and issue valid receipts every time.

• Update every visit outcome, customer response, and collection in the app on the same day.

• Work within RBI fair practices guidelines on permitted visit timings, conduct, and borrower privacy.

• Coordinate with your State Collections Manager and share regular field updates on difficult cases.

• Build local knowledge of your area — routes, communities, and customer patterns — to improve conversion.

What You'll Bring

Must-Have

• 12th pass minimum; graduates preferred.

• Comfort with daily field work, travel, and face-to-face customer conversations.

• DRA certification, or willingness to complete the RBI-mandated DRA training after joining.

• Willingness to cover a 30-40 km radius within your assigned area each day.

• Good communication and convincing skills in the local language.

• A smartphone and the ability to use a mobile app for daily case updates.

Good-to-Have

• 1-3 years of field collections experience with a bank, NBFC, or collection agency.

• Exposure to specific buckets such as microfinance or NPA accounts.

• Working knowledge of RBI fair practices and recovery conduct norms.

• A two-wheeler with a valid driving licence.

• Familiarity with the Jaipur area and its local communities.
