Purpose of the Role
To generate sales from retail projects by developing relationships with builders, contractors, architects, interior designers, painters, and retail dealers, while ensuring successful conversion of project opportunities into business.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new retail project opportunities in the assigned territory.
Regularly meet builders, contractors, architects, interior designers, consultants, and project owners.
Coordinate with retail dealers and channel partners to generate project leads.
Promote company products and solutions to project influencers and decision-makers.
Track ongoing and upcoming residential, commercial, and institutional projects.
Prepare project proposals, product specifications, and quotations.
Ensure product approvals and inclusion in project specifications.
Coordinate with technical, logistics, and customer service teams for smooth project execution.
Conduct site visits and provide product demonstrations when required.
Develop and maintain relationships with painters and applicators to enhance business opportunities.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Maintain project pipeline reports, customer database, and daily activity reports (DAR).

Sales achievement against targets.
Number of new project leads generated.
Project conversion ratio.
New customer acquisition.
Dealer and influencer engagement.
Collection and receivables management.
Market coverage and reporting compliance.
Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline (MBA Marketing preferred).
2–5 years of experience in Paints, Construction Chemicals, Building Materials, Ceramics, or related industries.

Knowledge of project sales processes.
Market intelligence and analytical skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
