The Business Development Manager (BDM) – Agency Channel is responsible for recruiting, training, and managing insurance advisors, driving life insurance sales, and expanding the agency network for HDFC Life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit and onboard Life Insurance Advisors / Agents

  • Train, motivate, and support advisors to achieve sales targets

  • Drive life insurance business through the agency channel

  • Plan and execute sales strategies to increase market penetration

  • Ensure product training, joint field work, and performance tracking

  • Maintain strong relationships with advisors and customers

  • Achieve monthly & annual business targets

  • Ensure compliance with IRDAI and company policies
