A Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and driving the company’s growth by achieving sales targets. The role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Identify and research potential clients, markets, and business opportunities.
Generate leads through calls, emails, social media, networking, and field visits.
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
Present company products/services to prospective clients and explain their benefits.
Understand client needs and provide tailored business solutions.
Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and presentations.
Negotiate and close business deals to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline in CRM or reporting tools.
Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align business development strategies.
Stay updated with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience (0–3+ years) in sales, marketing, or business development.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Goal-oriented mindset and ability to meet deadlines and targets.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software is an advantage.
