Business Development Executive – Skill & Education Sector

Key Responsibilities
• Identify and onboard new clients including schools, colleges, training centers, corporate and government skilling projects.
• Generate leads through LinkedIn outreach, institutional visits, events, referrals and channel partners.
• Conduct product demonstrations (online & offline) for Principals, Training Heads, CSR/HR Teams and Business Owners.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate commercials and close deals to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Manage and nurture existing accounts; ensure renewals, repeat business and upselling of additional programs.
• Maintain accurate data on CRM, track pipeline and activities and submit regular sales forecasts and performance reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams for onboarding, implementation and smooth client servicing.
Requirements
• 1–4 years of sales experience, preferably in EdTech, Skill Development, SaaS or Training Services.
• Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Sales/Marketing is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable with field travel, institutional meetings and video conferencing.
• Good understanding of the Indian education & skilling ecosystem including NSDC, SSCs, CSR initiatives and academic decision cycles.
• Self-motivated, target-driven and capable of working independently
