The Business Development professional is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, generating leads, and driving revenue growth. The role involves market research, sales strategy development, client acquisition, and collaboration with internal teams to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, referrals, and market research.
Generate and qualify leads to build a strong sales pipeline.
Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients.
Conduct meetings, presentations, and product/service demonstrations.
Prepare proposals, quotations, and business contracts.
Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with clients.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Collaborate with marketing, operations, and customer success teams.
Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and prepare sales reports.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
1–5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management (depending on level).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
