Business Development Executive

he role focuses on acquiring new Current Account (CA) customers (mainly businesses), maintaining relationships, and driving revenue through banking products and services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Acquisition

• Identify and approach potential customers such as SMEs, traders, startups, and corporates

• Open new Current Accounts through field sales, cold calling, and networking

• Generate leads via market visits, referrals, and business directories

2. Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients

• Understand customer business needs and provide suitable banking solutions

• Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention

3. Sales Targets

• Achieve monthly and quarterly targets for:

  • Current Account openings

  • CASA (Current Account Savings Account) balance

  • Cross-selling products (loans, insurance, payment solutions, etc.)
