Role Overview
Business Development Executives are part of front-line sales team. Their primary responsibility is acquiring new customers, driving CASA growth, and selling retail banking products through field and branch-level activities.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
🔹 Customer Acquisition
Open Savings Accounts & Current Accounts (CASA)
Acquire new-to-bank customers through field sales, referrals, and walk-ins
🔹 Product Sales
Savings Account
Current Account
Term Deposits / Fixed Deposits
Debit Cards
Cross-selling of bank products (as per eligibility)
🔹 Field Sales & Market Development
Conduct local area marketing, door-to-door visits, corporate visits
Build relationships with local merchants, businesses, and SMEs
Generate leads through references and market mapping
🔹 Customer Relationship Management
Explain product features, benefits, and documentation clearly
Ensure smooth account opening and activation
Provide post-sales support and coordination with branch teams
🔹 Target Achievement & Compliance
Achieve daily / monthly sales targets
Follow KYC, AML, and bank compliance norms
Maintain accurate customer data and sales MIS
Skills & Requirements
✅ Graduation (Mandatory)
✅ Good communication & convincing skills
✅ Willingness to do field sales
✅ Basic banking & documentation knowledge
✅ Experience in sales / CASA (preferred, not always mandatory)
