The Sales Manager – MHE Forklift is responsible for driving sales growth of forklift trucks and material handling equipment by developing new business opportunities, managing key customer accounts, and achieving sales targets across assigned territories or industries. The role involves customer relationship management, technical solution selling, market analysis, and coordination with service and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Generate new business opportunities for forklifts and MHE products.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable material handling solutions.
Conduct site visits and customer demonstrations.
Prepare and present commercial proposals, quotations, and tenders.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with clients.
Customer Relationship Management
Build strong relationships with industrial, warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, and distribution clients.
Maintain regular follow-up with existing and potential customers.
Handle customer concerns and coordinate with after-sales/service teams for resolution.
Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Market & Competitor Analysis
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
Identify new market segments and growth opportunities.
Prepare sales forecasts and market intelligence reports.
Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate with finance, operations, and service departments for smooth order execution.
Maintain CRM records and sales pipeline updates.
Submit daily/weekly/monthly sales reports to management.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
MBA preferred.
Experience
5–10 years of sales experience in forklifts, MHE, industrial equipment, construction equipment, or related industries.
Experience in B2B industrial sales is preferred.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Required Skills
Strong sales and negotiation skills.
Technical understanding of forklifts and warehouse equipment.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Customer-focused approach.
Ability to work independently and manage territory sales.
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
Valid driving license preferred.
