Role Overview

We are hiring energetic Sales Officers (SO) to expand our retail presence and generate secondary sales in assigned territories. The role involves visiting retail outlets, generating orders, expanding the retailer network, and ensuring strong product visibility in the market.

Key Responsibilities

1. Retail Network Expansion

• Identify and onboard new retail outlets in assigned territory

• Develop beat plans and route maps

• Introduce products and explain retailer schemes

2. Order Generation

• Visit 30–40 retail outlets per day

• Generate secondary sales orders

• Promote priority SKUs and schemes

3. Execution & Merchandising

• Ensure product placement and shelf visibility

• Deploy POSM materials such as posters, wobblers, and branding

• Support promotional and sampling campaigns

4. Market Intelligence

• Track competitor activity and pricing

• Collect retailer feedback

• Provide weekly market updates

Key KPIs

• Number of retail outlets onboarded

• Daily productive calls

• Orders generated and sales volume

• Retailer reorder rate

• POSM placement and visibility score

Candidate Requirements

Experience

• 1–4 years experience in FMCG / retail sales

• Experience in general trade or distributor sales preferred

Skills

• Strong field sales ability

• Good communication and negotiation skills

• Territory and route planning

• Relationship management with retailers
