Marketing Executive / Channel Sales Executive / Regional Sales Executive
Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh
Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹40,000 per month
Industry: Electronic Home Appliances (Consumer Durables)
Experience: MUST have experience in Electronic Home Appliances / Consumer Electronics industry (e.g., Air Coolers, Fans, Geysers, Mixers, Small Appliances, Electronics)
About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales & Marketing professional to manage channel sales, distributor/retailer networks, and market development for electronic home appliances. The role involves driving sales growth, expanding the dealer network, and achieving monthly/quarterly targets in the Raipur region.
Key Responsibilities
1. Channel Sales & Dealer Management
Handle distributor, dealer, and retailer network across Raipur & nearby areas.
Appoint new distributors and dealers to expand market coverage.
Maintain strong relationships with existing trade partners.
Ensure product availability, visibility, and placement in retail outlets.
2. Sales Growth & Revenue Generation
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Drive secondary & primary sales.
Analyze market potential and plan sales strategies accordingly.
Push product movement during season periods (summer, festival season, etc.).
3. Market Development & Branding
Execute marketing activities such as in-shop branding, display setups, product demos, consumer offers, and retail promotions.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, schemes, and market trends.
Collect and share market intelligence with management.
4. Retail Visits & Field Activity
Regular market visits to retail counters, distributors, and wholesalers.
Ensure product training for retailers and their staff.
Verify product display standards and brand visibility.
5. Product Knowledge & Technical Understanding
Must understand electronic home appliances (coolers, fans, mixer grinders, geysers, heaters, etc.).
Explain product features, advantages, and benefits to dealers/retailers.
Provide basic troubleshooting support to market partners when required.
6. Scheme Management
Communicate monthly sales schemes, festival offers, and trade promotions to distributors & retailers.
Ensure proper claim submissions and settlement for schemes.
7. Reporting & MIS
Prepare daily and weekly sales reports.
Share competitor analysis, sales forecasts, beat plans, and market updates.
Maintain accurate records of dealer appointments, targets, and achievements.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience
2–6 years of sales/marketing experience in Electronic Home Appliances or Consumer Durables is mandatory.
Skills
Strong knowledge of dealer/distributor networks.
Excellent communication & negotiation skills.
Good market understanding of Raipur / Chhattisgarh region.
Ability to handle fieldwork and travel extensively.
Goal-driven, self-motivated, and strong follow-up skills.
Technical Knowledge
Basic understanding of electrical/electronic appliances.
Ability to explain product features and technical specs to retailers.
