We are looking for a Area Sales Officer to join our team at HDFC LIFE. The role requires candidates who are skilled in building customer relationships, following up on leads, and maximizing sales opportunities. Identify prospects and develop sales strategies to drive business growth. The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹21,500 - ₹24,500 and prospects of growth.
Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve assigned sales and business targets within the defined territory.

• Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales executives/agents.

• Develop new business opportunities through market visits, referrals, and lead generation.

• Monitor team performance and ensure achievement of individual and team targets.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners.

• Guide the team on sales strategies, product knowledge, and customer handling.

• Track daily sales activities, leads, conversions, and business performance.

• Conduct regular team meetings and provide performance feedback.

• Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and compliance with company policies.

• Identify new market opportunities and implement strategies to increase business growth.

• Coordinate with branch/management teams to achieve overall business objectives.

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 1 - 6+ years of experience. Familiarity with different sales techniques is a must. Applicants should also have good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in computer use and the ability to utilize technology effectively are essential.
