Senior Tailor – Sampling & Alterations

Gubbacci is looking for an experienced Senior Tailor to manage the stitching of woven garment samples, alterations, and small-quantity orders at our warehouse.

The selected candidate must be skilled in stitching school uniform products such as shirts, trousers, shorts, and skirts. The Senior Tailor will also guide and supervise a small team of two to three junior tailors, ensuring that garments are completed accurately, neatly, and on time.

Fabric, trims, patterns, and other required materials will be provided by the company. This role is focused on sampling, alterations, corrections, and small orders—not bulk production.

• Prepare samples of:

• Shirts

• Trousers

• Shorts

• Skirts

Other school uniform garments as required

• Perform alterations such as:

• Adjusting garment length

• Waist alterations

• Taking in or loosening garments

• Sleeve adjustments

• Replacing buttons, zippers, hooks, and other trims

• Correcting stitching or finishing defects
