Key Responsibilities
Buyer Communication: Talk daily with international or domestic brands, share updates, and clarify order specifications.
Costing and Pricing: Calculate detailed material costs, labor, and profit margins to negotiate competitive prices.
Sampling and Approvals: Coordinate with the sampling department to develop initial prototypes, get lab dips, and secure buyer approvals.
Sourcing Materials: Book and purchase fabrics, buttons, zippers, and other accessories from trusted suppliers.
Production Planning: Create internal order sheets, set timelines, and run pre-production meetings with factory floors.
Quality and Shipment Tracking: Monitor factory output alongside quality control teams, arrange final inspections, and handle shipping documents.
Required Skills
Communication: Clear writing and speaking skills to handle negotiations and daily emails.
Organization: Ability to track multiple product lines and tight delivery deadlines simultaneously.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of fabrics, garment construction, and basic manufacturing processes.
Problem-Solving: Quick thinking to resolve material delays or factory errors before delivery dates.
