Coordinate daily with fabric suppliers, dye houses, printers, and knows about embroidery workshops.
Build and strictly enforce Time & Action (T&A) timelines to ensure festive and seasonal collections launch on time.
Calculate precise garment cost sheets (fabric consumption, CMT, value additions) to maximize profit margins.
Oversee fit approvals and ensure rigorous quality checks specific to Indianwear (e.g., proper lining, neat finishing on heavy embroidery, and correct fabric grain).
What We Look For
Experience: 2–5 years in production/merchandising specifically within an Indianwear or Indo-Western fashion brand.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Indian textiles, garment construction (Kurtas, Lehengas, Anarkalis), and embroidery techniques.
Core Skills: Strong negotiation skills, and the ability to seamlessly communicate with both designers and ground-level artisans.
