Job Title: Fashion Designer

Department: Design

Location: FLO

Experience: 1–3 Years

Roles & Responsibilities

• Research current fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and market demand

• Develop design concepts, mood boards, and seasonal collections

• Create sketches, illustrations, and design specifications

• Select fabrics, trims, embellishments, and color palettes

• Coordinate with merchandising, sampling, and production teams

• Guide sample development and ensure design accuracy

• Make modifications based on buyer feedback and costing constraints

• Ensure designs align with brand identity and target customer

• Maintain design documentation and seasonal records

Key Skills & Requirements

• Strong knowledge of fabrics, silhouettes, and garment construction

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop (CorelDRAW is a plus)

• Good understanding of trend forecasting and market research

• Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple styles

• Strong communication and coordination skills

• Attention to detail and creativity with commercial sense

Education & Qualification

• Degree/Diploma in Fashion Designing or Apparel Designing

• Certification from a recognized fashion institute is preferred
