Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and confident Anchoring Intern to join our media team. As an intern, you will get hands-on experience in hosting shows, reading scripts, and participating in live or recorded broadcast segments. This role is ideal for students or freshers passionate about media, journalism, or public speaking who want to build a career in anchoring or reporting.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Assist in anchoring live or recorded shows, interviews, and news segments.
Practice and perform script reading using a teleprompter or cue cards.
Support the editorial team in content research, script writing, and storyboarding.
Help conduct interviews with guests, industry professionals, or common people.
Learn and practice voice modulation, diction, and on-screen body language.
Coordinate with production, camera, and editing teams for segment planning and execution.
Participate in pre-broadcast rehearsals and mock interviews.
Occasionally contribute to social media videos, reels, or behind-the-scenes footage.
Requirements:
Strong verbal communication and public speaking skills
Confidence in front of the camera with presentable appearance
Fluent in [English/Hindi or regional language, as per channel]
Basic understanding of media and journalism practices
Interest in storytelling, interviewing, and live presentation
Team player with a willingness to learn and adapt
Preferred Qualifications:
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Performing Arts, or a related field
Prior experience in anchoring or stage events (school/college level is a plus)
