DG Operator

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor Diesel Generator (DG) sets to ensure uninterrupted power supply.

• Start, stop, and operate DG sets safely as per operational requirements.

• Monitor DG parameters such as fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and load.

• Perform routine inspection of generators, batteries, cables, and related equipment.

• Carry out basic maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of DG sets.

• Check and maintain adequate diesel, engine oil, and coolant levels.

• Identify abnormal sounds, vibrations, overheating, or other equipment issues and report them promptly.

• Maintain daily DG operation, fuel consumption, and maintenance records.

• Coordinate with the maintenance and electrical teams for major repairs and breakdowns.

• Follow electrical safety procedures and workplace safety guidelines.

• Ensure the DG area and equipment are kept clean and properly maintained.

Requirements:

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical is preferred.

• Previous experience as a DG Operator, Generator Operator, or DG Technician is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of diesel generators and electrical systems.

• Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance.

• Good understanding of workplace and electrical safety procedures.

• Candidates with relevant hands-on experience can also apply.

• It is a Full Time ఎలక్ట్రీషియన్ job for candidates with 3 - 6 years of experience.
