We are looking for an Service engineer to join our team at Outsourcing Solutions. The tasks will include installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems at Bharat Petroleum (BPCL) site at URAN. The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹25000 - ₹35000 and growth opportunities.
Responsibilities of Emergency Evacuation Equipment Technician at Receipt Terminal, Uran, Raigarh, Mumbai.
a. Routine operation and checking of EMERGENCY EVACUATION SYSTEM (EEE) including High energy ignition (HEI) system, Tri-boltier and battery-operated ignition in every shift.
b. Operation of EMERGENCY EVACUATION SYSTEM (EEE) during any firefighting/ emergency inside the terminal or to nearby external plants if required as desired by Engineer?in?charge.
c. Operation of EMERGENCY EVACUATION SYSTEM (EEE) during mock drills.
d. Daily cleaning/ maintenance of EMERGENCY EVACUATION SYSTEM (EEE) like checking of oil level, tyre pressure, checking healthiness of electrical system, pressure checking of N2 and LPG cylinders, Valve greasing and maintenance of EEE system, Flare stack and pilot maintenance, Breaded hose maintenance and testing etc.
e. Daily cleaning and checking of EMERGENCY EVACUATION SYSTEM (EEE).
f. Maintaining logbook and checklist including spare item list in every shift.
g. Maintaining statutory compliance of EEE system.
h. Regular participation in Squad drill & Fire drill.
i. Operation of fire hydrants, CO2 Extinguishers, DCP Extinguishers, portable foam extinguishers during firefighting/ emergencies.
j. To check the condition of all piping, flanges, pressure gauge etc. during routine and emergency handling.
k. Weekly operation of emergency evacuation equipment and maintaining records.
l. Monitoring and ensuring process parameters of emergency evacuation equipment.
m. Assisting in maintaining and operating firefighting systems including DV, DCP, Sprinkler system at Uran.
n. Conducting movement of EEE system to location using prime mover as per instruction of BPCL Engineer In-charge
o. Conducting housekeeping of EEE system and associated piping.
The safe operation of Emergency Evacuation Equipment/ Mobile Hot Flare is the primary requirement of the contract.
Technician shall be familiar with regional language (Marathi), Hindi and English. Before deployment of the technician, BPCL Engineer In-charge will take the skill test and post clearance from him deployment to be carried out.
Job Requirements:
The minimum qualification for this role is Electrical Engineering Diploma and 1 - 6+ years of experience. Complete knowledge of safety procedures, the ability to understand electrical drawings/blueprints, critical thinking, and problem-solving ability are a must.
