ITI Electrician

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Electrician / Maintenance Technician to join our hospital maintenance team. The candidate should have experience in electrical maintenance along with basic knowledge of plumbing, medical gas systems, and general facility maintenance. The role requires ensuring the uninterrupted operation of hospital infrastructure and equipment while maintaining safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Maintenance

• Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.

• Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure timely rectification.

• Maintain electrical panels, wiring, lighting systems, switches, sockets, UPS, DG sets, and related equipment.

• Ensure uninterrupted power supply to critical hospital areas.

Plumbing & Utility Maintenance

• Carry out basic plumbing repairs, including pipelines, faucets, valves, water pumps, and drainage systems.

• Monitor water supply systems and resolve leakage issues promptly.

Medical Gas System Maintenance

• Assist in monitoring and maintaining medical gas pipelines and related infrastructure.

• Report any leakage, malfunction, or safety concern immediately.

• Coordinate with vendors for servicing and repairs as required.

General Maintenance

• Perform routine maintenance of hospital facilities and infrastructure.

• Support civil, carpentry, and other maintenance activities whenever required.

• Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed within specified timelines.

• Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment servicing.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow hospital safety protocols and electrical safety standards.

• Identify and report hazards such as exposed wires, sparks, electrical faults, water leakages, and gas-related issues.

• Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).

Eligibility Criteria

• ITI/Diploma in Electrician Trade or relevant technical qualification.

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance.

• Experience in hospital, healthcare preferred.

• Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, medical gas systems, and general maintenance activities.

• Ability to handle multiple maintenance tasks independently.

Required Skills

• Electrical troubleshooting and repair.

• Basic plumbing and utility maintenance.

• Knowledge of DG sets, UPS, and electrical panels.

• Understanding of hospital maintenance operations.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work in shifts and attend emergency breakdowns.
