Job Summary:
The Service and Calibration Engineer is responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of instruments and equipment as per company standards. The role involves visiting customer sites, ensuring proper functioning of instruments, maintaining calibration accuracy, and preparing technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of instruments and equipment.
• Carry out calibration activities as per standard procedures and customer requirements.
• Prepare and issue calibration certificates, reports, and service records accurately and on time.
• Identify technical issues, perform troubleshooting and repair, and ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate with the service coordinator or manager for scheduling field visits.
• Maintain calibration tools, reference instruments, and equipment in proper working condition.
• Follow ISO/IEC 17025 or NABL guidelines during calibration work.
• Support in maintaining service documentation, customer feedback, and traceability records.
• Provide technical support and training to customers when required.
• Ensure safety standards and quality compliance are maintained during all service operations.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Diploma / ITI in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical.
• 1–3 years of experience in service and calibration (freshers with strong technical skills may also apply).
• Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments, process control instruments, or measuring equipment preferred.
• Good knowledge of electronic measuring principles and calibration standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic report preparation.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel for on-site service and calibration assignments.
