Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, panels, switches, sockets, and lighting systems.
Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment and machinery.
Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults and resolve issues efficiently.
Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure proper functioning.
Read and understand basic electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
Maintain records of maintenance activities and report any abnormalities.
Support senior electricians during installation and commissioning activities.
Keep tools, equipment, and the work area clean and organized.
Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate PPE while performing electrical work.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and maintenance.
Understanding of electrical components such as MCBs, MCCBs, contactors, relays, motors, and control panels.
Ability to use electrical testing instruments such as a multimeter, clamp meter, and insulation tester.
Basic troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work in shifts, if required.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance.
Basic understanding of PLCs, VFDs, and electrical control panels.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices.
Awareness of electrical safety standards and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
