Job Responsibilities

• Perform fitting, assembly, installation, and maintenance of machines and equipment.

• Read and understand basic engineering drawings and measurements.

• Carry out drilling, cutting, grinding, and other fitting-related work.

• Assemble machine components accurately as per specifications.

• Identify and rectify mechanical faults and breakdowns.

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspection of machinery.

• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely.

• Maintain proper housekeeping and follow workplace safety procedures.

• Coordinate with the production and maintenance teams as required.

Requirements

• ITI / Diploma in Fitter or Mechanical Trade preferred.

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in fitting or machine maintenance.

• Knowledge of basic mechanical tools and equipment.

• Good understanding of measurements and fitting techniques.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Physically fit and willing to work at the required site/plant.
