Electrician

Job Summary:

The Electrician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in automobiles, ensuring vehicles operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in vehicles.

• Inspect wiring, lighting systems, batteries, alternators, and starters.

• Repair and maintain vehicle electrical components and accessories.

• Use diagnostic tools to identify electrical issues.

• Install and service electrical equipment and vehicle accessories.

• Perform preventive maintenance on vehicle electrical systems.

• Ensure proper functioning of AC systems, sensors, and electronic controls.

• Maintain service records and job card updates.

• Follow safety standards and workshop procedures.

• Coordinate with service advisors and technicians for vehicle repairs.

• Test vehicles after repair to ensure issue resolution.

• Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of tools and equipment.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of automobile electrical systems.

• Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

• Ability to use electrical testing tools and equipment.

• Basic computer and technical knowledge.

• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Qualification:

• ITI / Diploma in Electrician or Automobile preferred.

Experience:

• 1–5 years of experience in automobile electrical repair and maintenance.
