Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, switches, outlets, and equipment.

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and equipment problems.

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems.

• Test electrical components and systems using appropriate tools and equipment.

• Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable safety standards and regulations.

• Maintain proper records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.

• Respond to electrical breakdowns and emergencies when required.

• Coordinate with technicians, contractors, and other maintenance personnel.

• Maintain electrical tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.

Requirements

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a relevant qualification.

• Previous experience as an electrician is preferred.

• Good knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting.

• Ability to read electrical drawings and diagrams.

• Knowledge of electrical safety procedures.

• Ability to use electrical testing and hand tools safely.

• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
