Key Responsibilities

Operate a light commercial truck/LCV (e.g., Tata Ace, Bolero Pickup, small commercial vans) for assigned delivery tasks on the Porter app.

Pick up and deliver goods safely to customer locations within specified time windows.

Inspect and maintain the vehicle in good working condition (fuel, tire pressure, basic checks).

Assist with loading and unloading items when required, ensuring goods are handled carefully.

Use the Porter driver app to accept tasks, navigate routes, track trips, and update status.

Follow all traffic regulations, safety protocols, and Porter platform guidelines.

Maintain professionalism and provide courteous service to customers.

Ensure proper documentation of goods, proof of delivery, and any payment/OTP verification steps.

Report any delays, issues, or vehicle concerns to the supervisor or support team.

Skills & Qualifications

Valid commercial or LMV driver’s license.

Proven experience driving light commercial vehicles.

Good knowledge of city routes and navigation apps (Google Maps, etc.).

Ability to lift and handle packages when needed.

Strong communication and customer-service skills.

Punctual, reliable, and safety-focused
